This blog is being created for use in my technology class in answering assignments, my take on a discussion question, technology that excites me to use in school. This provides me a benefit so that even after this class is finished I will still have access to all of this information and all of my classmates blogs for ideas and uses of technology in the classroom.
Trey, I enjoyed your minilesson. I liked how you started with a YouTube video and are going to have the students create a collaborative digital poster. The game is a fun and effective way to integrate technology. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi Trey! I liked that you chose to do a lesson on the Oregon Trail. I remember learning about this when I was in elementary school and it was so interesting to me. The YouTube video was very informative and I liked that it wasn't just facts being spewed out in a video format. I like that it was a bit humorous which will keep the attention of the students. ReplyDeleteI loved the days we got to play Oregon Trail in school and I'm sure the students would love it too! The YouTube video was very informative as well, I think students would get drawn into it and really pay attention to whats being said! I was so interested I watch the whole thing instead of just the first 5 minutes!
